He also had photos from fansites go viral due to his face being makeup-free and people cooing over his freckles that he had kept mostly-covered up until this point. There were a ton of videos that went around of him interacting with fans during fansigns. August accumulated a lot of fans during this time and he seemed much lighter. He also made his return to SNS at this time and he seemed to be in a better place, going live at more reasonable times and not talking out of his head. August took home a few wins and again, had a promotional period that lasted fourteen days. The album was titled "Man on the Moon." This album and title track felt like a throwback to his debut, giving the same kind of aesthetics and vibes as Moon had in the sense that it was music with a poppy-vibe and a colourful music video. The album contained fifteen other songs and was released on his debut anniversary- May 30, 2019. No More was the title track to August's first full-length album. Neither August nor C9 Entertainment have ever commented on these rumours and whether or not they hold any validity. This is when the rumours started circulating that he was being mistreated by his entertainment and being made to work long and hard hours with little rest. After this, August was silent on SNS for a while, presumably having his SNS freedoms revoked by C9. This is what caused fans to be concerned about August, as he was seemingly out of it through the entire duration of the livestream and he spoke nonsensically. One particular vLive, that has since been removed from the website, was a voice-only live that lasted around nine minutes. These lives didn't last long, ranging anywhere from 4-15 minutes each. He would speak nonsense and seem to break out of it rather quickly.
During this time is when his "scandal" broke out, as August would often go live on his vLive channel and on Instagram live at all hours of the night. There was no promotional period, and August has never performed this song live. Winter Aid was an English track that was released in November of 2018. Many people don't necessarily consider this a comeback, but it is listed on music sites as one. Winter Aid was a song that August released on his SoundCloud.
